Obesity

Hmm, I just want to share an article from Readers Digest about the Obesity.

Being obese is defined as having a body mass index, or BMI of 30 or greater. Obesity can lead to heart disease, stroke, high blood pressure, diabetes and even some forms of cancer. Millions of people are obese in Western societies, and the number is growing.

Well, people always think to eat less but some researchers think that when we lose some weight, fat cell shrink, lessening the amount of leptin, an appetite suppressor, that pours into the blood. When leptin falls below the level that our genes are programmed for, the brain releases other hormones that increase hunger. This is what dieter know as the rebound effect; they lose weight, only to gain it all back, along with a bit more each time.
Here so,e tips. If you want to really enjoy what you're eating, focus on flavorsome, healthy foods. Enjoy fibre and nutrient such as rich wholegrain rice instead of white rice or bagles, coscous and salad instead of potato salad with fat.

Well, losing weight doesn't mean going hungry; it means eating well :)

p/s: I'm sorry if my grammar is worse. :p
